We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Event Coordinator to join our team and help us connect with our community through engaging events and initiatives.

Position Overview:

As our Marketing Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in promoting our restaurant both physically and over social media. The main focus will be building relationships within the community. You will be responsible for planning and executing events, creating content and posting on social media, coordinating food donations + giveaways, and serving as the overall face of Chick-fil-A to our community. Your creativity and passion for community engagement will help elevate our brand and enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Design, organize, and execute events that resonate with our community, including theme nights, promotional events, and family-friendly activities.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to foster community partnerships and drive participation in events.
  • Giveaway Coordination: Plan and implement promotional giveaways and contests that encourage customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • On-Site Execution: Be present during events to ensure smooth operations, interact with guests, and represent the Chick-fil-A brand positively.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the restaurant operational leadership to create marketing materials and promotional strategies that align with our events and community initiatives.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from events to improve future initiatives and enhance community engagement.
  • Handle Guest Complaints: Handle all online guest complaints and ensure they are fully satisfied in a timely fashion.
  • Cow Visits: Facilitate and utilize the \COW\ for events and to visit local schools and community events
  • Catering Events: Seek out and create relationships with local events and organizations to order catering meals from us (Ex: Delivery to a school)
  • Tent Events: Seek out and create relationships with community that will engage us to sell our food at their event off site (EX: Football games)

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills that demonstrate good work ethic and a desire to grow
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in event planning and community engagement
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative event concepts
  • Fluent in all forms of social media and understands how to engage and grow followership
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Willing and able to be on site for all events and giveaways
  • Passion for the Chick-fil-A brand and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Job Requirements

  • Work from home to develop marketing materials as well as communicate with community and event planning
  • On site for meetings with operational team as well as strategy and event coordination
  • On site for all events from Setting Up to Cleaning UP
  • On site for all giveaways to ensure community engagement is being met
  • Proficient in social media content creation and execution of posts
  • Event Planning/Execution background not mandatory but highly encouraged
  • Great communication skills as well as a time management
